Welcome all you True Up-ers and Decor8ors! If you're here for the fabric pattern, it's this post. {And I'm sorry if you had trouble downloading the image. . .I haven't had a good night's sleep all week so I'm functioning on 1% brain use. Hopefully it's all fixed now!}
If you're here to see what inspires the hand behind the calendar, well, browse around! You'll find information about our hens {April} that gave me feathers to reference for drawing September, as well as lots and lots of gardening talk, which pretty much covers the rest of the months. There's also a little back story on this year's process.
Maybe I should introduce myself? I'm Renee, a 33 year old drawer, that's draw-er not device for storing items that pulls out of a containing box. {I like calling myself a draw-er rather than illustrator. . .I don't know why.} I'm married with a 1 year old girl, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a third-generation school of gold fish, and 5 hens. I like to cut my bangs and make terrible faces for the camera. This is me, photo taken by my photographer husband with expired film on his vintage Canonet camera. I cut my bangs literally 2 minutes before running out the door on this family outing. I like to call them bangs with no remorse.
On that note, I hope you all have a fun and appropriately frightening weekend, thanks for visiting!
